अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के कप्तान विराट कोहली की उपलब्धियों को देखते हुए दिल्ली एवं जिला क्रिकेट संघ (DDCA) ने फिरोजशाह कोटला स्टेडियम में एक स्टैंड का नाम कोहली के नाम पर रखने का फैसला किया है। बता दें कि फिरोजशाह कोटला के मैदान में दो स्टैंड पहले से ही दिल्ली के खिलाड़ी बिशन सिंह बेदी और मोहिंदर अमरनाथ के नाम पर हैं। लेकिन इन दोनों दिग्गजों के यह सम्मान अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्यास के बाद मिल था।
