What are the fundamental, basic, non-negotiable principles upon which to base technology in schools? To name a few possibilities:

Your policies should target underlying substantive behaviors, not the mediums in which those behaviors occur.

What’s important isn’t that parents micromanage their kids or track their behavior, but whether they have an open relationship that allows for communications about important life events and values.

When it comes to off task behavior in the classroom, this is most likely the result of a poorly planned lesson or ineffective classroom management techniques.
