I love this game is helps the development of visual perception skills, fine motor skills, and sensory processing, crossing midline, eye-hand coordination and so much more. I think it works for adults as well as children.

This is a great poster on how a client and their family can make their home more wheelchair accessible. Having a sheet like this would be a great way to discuss with clients how well their home is wheelchair accessible and the changes they could make.
Here is a sheet that shows what area of the hand is affected with certain arthritic dx. I am a visual learner and this makes it easier to understand what movements are limited.
I think everyone should watch this video that is working with cancer patients. Knowing what our patients might experience will be our biggest tool when treating.
Wow, this video really puts everything in perspective, especially the girl mentioning her still being worried about homework (day-to-day worries still causing her stress). Gives a unique perspective from young survivors of cancer as well. Typically when one thinks of cancer survivors they generally picture people who are older. I would imagine cancer patients that are younger may have some differing needs in terms of a practitioner's psychosocial approach. Great post!
This video is helpful for teaching patients how to get out of bed after a THR! Unfortunately, it was not mentioned if it was a posterior or anterior THR, but the precautions (no hip bending past 90 degrees) made it fairly clear that this video was made for patients with posterior THR.
This is a really cool article on what the therapists role is in driver retirement and helping with finding new ways of transportation for those who need to discontinue driving.

I think teaching someone how to tie shoes is one of the most complex things ever! Here is a step by step instructional page on how to tie laces with one hand. This even gives written and visual instructions! :)
This infographic offers information on apps that would be beneficial for an aging population. Two apps that stuck out to me were the "Pillboxie" app that helps with medication management and "Silver Surf" which is an adapted web browser that includes larger navigation buttons and white-on-black graphics which allow for better viewing in all lighting situations.
Was looking up shoulder strengthening exercises and ran across a run down of several benefical exercises from wrist exercises all the way to shin splints!
This is a very good video demonstrating median nerve gliding. I found this very interesting because I have been told I have problems with my nerves in the same area. I am starting to wonder if this is something I may benefit from.
Very helpful video! I am gonna try it. I have alot of neck pain anyway, and I think this may help me? If not, maybe I will at least get a good stretch out of it. :)
This page just lets you select different foreground and background colors. As someone with vision problems, I found it really helpful to see how my eyes reacted to the different combinations.
