This blog is from the University of Alberta. It gives several ideas and ways to integrate the ideas into instruction. This would be helpful for me personally to get ideas on how to integrate more technology into the classroom.

Bright ideas is a blog where school library staff share ideas on how they can use Web 2.0 tools in their library and in their school. Tons of links and resources for book reviews, collaborative tools, Creative Commons websites, cybersafety, e-books and magazines, e-portfolios, feature use of Web 2.0 tools, and much more. This site was the first runner up in the 2009 Edublog Awards for Best Library Blog.

The Reading Lady is a great resource to all involved in literacy. It offers ideas for comprehension, author studies, poetry, writing, assessment (including rubrics), reader's theater (one of my favorite things, and even a blog. These are very user friendly ideas and lessons.

This site was created by a technology integration specialist. She shares her thoughts, ideas, and projects. Almost daily she adds new sites to her blog. She has a lot of information about digital storytelling. If you are looking for technology project ideas this is a good place to browse.

Connect with other educators to share ideas and resources. Scholastic provides teachers with so many great tools. I haven't used TeacherShare yet, but I could see it beneficial for all teachers because you are able to connect with great teachers all over the world. There are so many great ideas!

This is a PBS site about media literacy. It has teacher resources and professional development ideas related to media literacy.

This site offers so much. The teacher activity packs allow teachers to upload lessons, links, and activities to their own websites. There is a PD section with online courses for teachers. Lesson ideas are connected to standards and are available for many different grades.

A site full of lessons that can be categorized by grade levels and topics. With each category there is a "professional development" tab with great instruction and ideas.

This is a great resource for teachers and administrators. It is packed with bel ringer ideas, current issues, blogs, live chats, forums and many ideas from professional development to lesson plan ideas. What a great resource to keep and it is easy to research.

This site offers teachers resources in lesson planning, professional development and tech integration. There are also links to resources for administrators and issues concerning our schools.

This site has a professional development section. Some articles have suggestions for new teachers, strategies for classroom management, bullying, and character education to name a few.

This is a place where teachers can gather and share ideas. This resource includes lesson plans, information on how to integrate technology in the classroom, articles written by educational experts, web site reviews, and employment listings. I believe we can all share ideas and build upon those ideas to create lessons that are meaningful to students.

You've got to check this one out, especially if you are or plan to be an elementary school librarian. This librarian, Keisa Williams, has such great ideas. She even talks about some of the professional development she has done with the staff. Awesome!

As a social studies teacher this resource provides a constant flow of creative ideas. I utilize Google tools whenever possible in the classroom and this blog keeps me informed.

This is an awesome site for book lovers! It allows you to browse through popular books, which I love to do, just to see what people are reading for an idea of what to read next. Then you can put books that you own on your "shelf". You can then have friends and share actual books with each other, if you live nearby. It is also a great place to read ratings on books. It then links you to Amazon and other libraries where you could check our or buy the books! You can also put your "bookshelf" on a blog to show off your interests to all your friends.

It is free and has an education side to it with a secure network for K-12 students and teachers to collaborate and share ideas with ANYWHERE in the world!

Kansas Coaching Project from KU Center for Research on Learning. KU-CRL offers Instructional Coaching Institutes to explore issues and ideas related to this form of professional development.

This lady did a Technology seminar in Kansas City that I was able to attend two years ago. Since then, I always use her website that she has. There is incredible ideas and websites for teachers, parents, and students. Whenever I am trying to find something, this is almost always the first place I go to.

The mag that gives you news, views, ideas and more from the world of ed tech & edublogging. It is an excellent connection to educational issues and topics. It is free! I was amazed at the depth of information it provided. It would benefit all teachers because of the content and the ease in navigation.

The ramblings, rants, and thoughts of Gwyneth A. Jones. First runner-up in the 2009 Edublog Awards for Best Librarian/Library Blog, this site is full of ideas, links, and resources for today's teacher-librarian. I really like her straightforward (blunt) style of writing and her passion for today's librarians to stay abreast of emerging technologies.

This page would be helpful for librarians searching for professional development opportunities. It includes handouts to use in your library, ideas, institutes, online courses, articles about library issues, opportunities for learning, and much more! I had fun exploring this site.

Has many great ideas and programs to use in class. I like the engrade program.
