Basecamp has been around for 15 years. It has become the world's #1 project management tool. It is easy to use and reliable. Basecamp is free for 60 days. Here is the website: https://basecamp.com. Basecamp's at home on Safari (Mac, iPhone/iPad), Chrome (Mac, PC, iPhone/iPad, Android), Firefox (Mac, PC), and IE 9+ (PC, Surface). Basecamp also integrates effortlessly with email.
  •
Yes, I think Basecamp is definitely one of the standard bearers for project management software.
  •
I am currently working with BaseCamp sites that two of my vendors use. I really like it! Easy to use, intuitive, you can include both internal and external team members, keep a history of communications, dates, prototypes and resources!

FreeMind is a premier free mind-mapping software written in Java. The recent development has hopefully turned it into high productivity tool. We are proud that the operation and navigation of FreeMind is faster than that of MindManager because of one-click "fold / unfold" and "follow link" operations. This tool is open source and free to download and install.

I am reading the book written by the founder of this group. It is an enjoyable read and this company also runs a helpful blog. I think it is great for people and organizations that feel challenged by having those difficult conversations.

Revolutionary, yet simple, Nonviolent Communication offers you the most effective tools to reduce violence and create peace in your life-one interaction at a time.
  •
There is a lot of information on this site! They could use a little help with their web design to make it a little less overwhelming though...
  •
I love this approach to communication! I've used in all aspects of my work and personal communications and when I really implement it has really helped me navigate some high conflict situations. It does take practice and is easier to work with if you have others you can engage with to practice the techniques.

Great SlideShare presentation given by Kim Mckee and Kimberly Klotz at the Teaching with Technology Conference at UAMS in July 2013. Includes Project Management phases as it relates to the ADDIE Model.
  •
Clear and easy to understand. One item that stood out is the 'goals are defined by stakeholders'. When goals/definitions are clear from the beginning then it is easier to mover forward.

I'm very interested in Agile project management because I think visibility is improved, and this website is one of many that enhances visibility even more. I like it because of the clean layout and the intuitive nature. You can color code each team member and see what everyone is doing, making team meetings more effective. There is a 14 day trial, so it's worth trying out for a small portion of a project.
  •
Andi, I like this site a lot! Thanks for sharing! It looks very useful for each group project in this course. Also the introductory video gave me some ideas for our prototype : )
