The product owner is supposed to represent the voice of the customer. What is the voice of the customer exactly? It's a deeper understand of customer language and requirements...and there are even metrics! This article describes the qualities of a good set of "voice of the customer" metrics.

This is a website dedicated to Project Management comics. These are good for a few laughs but they also put some of what we've been reading about into story-boarded scenarios. I think those without any project management experience will find it helpful in adding some context to our readings.

This article is written in a humorous way and does describe the basic necessity of a project manager in eLearning projects. While it doesn't cover all aspects, it is well written and is open ended.

A useful article providing some tips on using technology to assist eLearning project management.

I found this to be an interesting article because it's from Kineo. In my first semester in this ILT program, my first group and I presented on Kineo eXe, an eLearning authoring tool. The article talks about the use of MS Project, a timesheet system, a bug database, and a collaborative tool. All of these are needed to manage an eLearning project. There are tools that offer more than one of these options, such as SharePoint as a collaboration tool and bug database, but with a cost. The article lists other options as well and I'd like to investigate the tools listed there more to see if there are free options.

There is a lot of good information here. Some of it is old. In some cases, that may matter and in other cases, it may not. I downloaded a couple of things. I hope he does some updates.

I love these guys... always simple and straight forward. For me this is a bit of a reality check. When things get a little too heavy and a little too complex, it's good to focus on the basics.

Tom Kuhlmann's advice is always practical when it comes to eLearning design and I see his advice about project management is no different. I found his advice to not view the things he discusses as a linear progression but as a set of activities that need to be done to get through a project.

I like something that is so practical and simple. Good advice we all need to keep in mind and in an easy-to-read format.

I understand this class is about project management, but after interviewing our product manager I realized I had misunderstood the difference between the two and how they worked together. Many times though I think both jobs are combined, due to lack of personnel.

The website, by DoIT and UW-Madison, helps walk through each step of the project management cycle/framework.

This is a great tool - especially for our Quality Management Plan! It is well laid out and covers all the Quality Management topics.

This tool seems very helpful. Thank you for sharing it. I really like that it has an iphone app that seems to be a key factor in these newer tools. I think that the live chat and blog is something unique about the tools as well, so thank you for pointing those features out as well.

Great looking tool, and moderately-priced for small businesses. I'd like to learn more about SCRUM! and besides that, it's just a cool term!
