What:
Training for school teams from schools which have already received basic RtI training through local, regional or state projects. At this training school teams will be using school wide data to assess the effectiveness of school intervention efforts. Using student outcome performance data as well as process evidence and indicators to determine the school's current status in implementing RtI. Using information to develop action steps for each participating school to enhance and improve their RtI implementation. To receive maximum benefit from this training, participants need to bring school wide benchmark data for at least the current school year and, if possible, prior years as well.

MYLF (pronounced "my life") is a unique career and leadership training program for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with disabilities. By serving as delegates from their communities at a 5-day intensive training, youth with disabilities will cultivate leadership, citizenship, and social skills. Delegates gain access to vital resources related to assistive technology, community support, and self-advocacy. Successful men and women with disabilities serve as role models in helping youth realize their abilities and obligations to pursue meaningful employment and contribute to society. Families of children with disabilities struggle to coordinate service providers during the transition process. Transportation is a significant barrier to many. Yellowstone-West/Carbon County Special Services Cooperative and CSPD Region III will be hosting a Real Life Fair at Red Lodge High School, with the intention of bringing a variety of service providers together under one roof. All Yellowstone-West/Carbon County and Eastern Yellowstone Special Service Cooperative families of children with disabilities in grades 7-12 will be invited to attend.

There will be an open commons area where organizations can set up tables with displays, and classrooms are available for short presentations. Service providers who wish to participate are encouraged to contact Libby Johnson as soon as possible using the contact information provided below. When:

Sibshops is an opportunity for brothers and sisters (ages 6-12) of children with a disability or special health need to enjoy friendship, activities and learning together. This Sibshop is focused on exploring feelings. Activities include swimming, a guest speaker, and sibtree. Lunch is provided.
