This website is about general facts about poverty, and how it varies by age, race and gender. i learned things like poverty is declining (and has been since the 1990s) but is still higher than in the 1970s. also, the poverty rate for children 0-17 is higher than any other age group, and marrige seems to help reduce poverty rates.
This article had several subsections about things like major causes and poverty around the world. It had a lot of statistics about poverty that I didn't know before like the fact that less than 1% of what the world spends on military wepons was needed to put every child in schools by 2000 but id didn't happen, or that 1 out of 2 children live in poverty around the world. It was really sad.
This website is about world poverty and its effects. The home page has a map of people dying all around the world because of hunger/hunger related causes.
