A video on how to "cut in" while painting. This video is really helpful for people that just learned the technique of cutting in while painting sets. Cutting in allows the painter to smoothly paint along the edges of one wall without getting paint on the other side or the ceiling. It is a very effective technique to use when painting sets. Also, you tube has many other how-to videos if more information is needed!

This website had quite a few examples of some murals, they seemed to be a different style than I am thinking of doing, but they are nice to look at. They seemed very detailed and realistic. Another thing about this site is that you could be more specific with the type of mural you would like to look at, like; children's rooms, ceiling murals, museum murals, and more. One of the better things about this site was that it had many links to things related to art, but otherwise, this site was not my favorite because there were not many different painting styles. Overall, this site was not very helpful.

This is a useful site for more professional people on how to price a mural and has very specific pricing, but wasn't useful for me as a beginner, painting smaller murals.

This site had a very useful pricing chart for Mural painting, with wall measurements, price per square footing and what detail differs the price.

Personally, I am not specifically looking for a career as a muralist, but for anyone that is, this site is great for helping you know what it's like and where to start. This site has a definition of mural and what a muralist does. Other types of careers are listed to the side because this site is not just focused on murals. Something else that is included on this site is the average salary that a muralist makes in a year. besides the subject of a career, the site did not have many other articles or information about murals or advice on how to make them. There were not many specifics in this article either. This website was not the best if you are looking how to make a mural, but it does give some of the supplies that are needed to do it, otherwise, I would not say this site is one of my favorite or relevant for me.
