This is a website that I found off of the GVSU library database collection. You can use this to look up a foundation or nonprofit. There are many different search categories too. For example, you could look up all of the foundations in Michigan, but then narrow your search to a city like Grand Rapids, or a county like Kent.

This article describes a new website Green America is launching which provides coupons and other green business information to the public. What better way to encourage and "green" lifestyle in a tight economy than with cost saving ways to do it?

This is like a barcode at a grocery store. However they are images instead of a barcode. These images appear in magazines and in other places and you take a picture with your smart phone and the image links you to a website. Nonprofits use these for advertisements and virtual tours and is free to do.

This article was good at showing the different ways blogging can inflict cost. You can choose the method which matches your flexibility to pay. $12000 annually will still be more than some can afford to pay. Carrying a full-time employee to manage the blog is the bulk of the cost so some may consider adding this as a responsibility to someone capable in the organization in the interim.
