The article notes that since implementation of these tools, the university has seen an increase in retention rates and passing grades.

The article highlights Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), which used Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management system to roll out self-service components to its various user constituencies. The article also notes that KCTCS uses PeopleSoft's Campus Solutions application to allow students to enroll in classes, pay their bills and make scheduling changes. The article includes comment by Paul Czarapata, chief technology officer, Kentucky Community and Technical College System, who notes that the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions module is relatively easy to administer.
