  • begrüßen insbesondere den angesprochenen Aspekt, Chancen bei der Nutzung und Erstellung Freier Inhalte weiter auszubauen und die Öffentlichkeit für das Themenfeld OER zu sensibilisieren.
  • Die Probleme, die derzeit im Zusammenhang mit OER bestehen, sind größtenteils treffend beschrieben und sinnvolle Vorschläge zur Verbesserung und Umsetzung gemacht. Der Vorschlag eine eigene OER-Lizenz zu entwickeln, ist jedoch sehr überraschend, da dies die Gefahr birgt, zu einer rechtlichen Insellösung zu führen und die internationale Anschlussfähigkeit einschränkt, wie bereits von Till Kreutzer in seiner Analyse 2013 für das BMBF ausführlich ausgeführt. Wir empfehlen daher, auf die Erfahrungen anderer öffentlicher Institutionen hinsichtlich freier Lizenzen (z. B. beim Umgang mit Open Data und der Datendeutschland Lizenz) zurückzugreifen und mögliche Hürden für die Nutzung weiter abzubauen, in dem beispielsweise die geforderte Sensibilisierung weiter vorangetrieben wird.

  • Although OER courses won’t solve every problem that the pandemic has caused for schools, they’re an important part of making sure teachers get the support they deserve—and students get the high-quality curriculum they need—in such difficult times.

    Very good point, we should move away from the standard of printed educational books, after all in the modern world data is constantly updated so books should be revised with time.
