Understanding Rubrics by Heidi Goodrich Andrade - 0 views

  •
Every time I introduce rubrics to a group of teachers the reaction is the same - instant appeal ("Yes, this is what I need!") followed closely by panic ("Good grief, how can I be expected to develop a rubric for everything?").

Capture, edit, and share your ideas with TechSmith Camtasia - 1 views

  •
Camtasia gives you the tools you need to record on-screen activity, edit and enhance your content, and share in high-quality to viewers anywhere.
  •
I purchased Camtasia a few years ago and find to be invaluable. It is quite intuitive as long as you aren't afraid to play a bit and figure out the transitions, etc. I recommend practicing some of the zooming and highlighting techniques on a test video so you aren't trying to learn it all right when you need to create a video for class.

Another neat site that has everything from a rubric generator to educational games. There are several tools to help any teacher bring more tech into their classroom. I have only used one of them, so I am looking forward to seeing what some of the others can do.

eLearning faculty research. Please consider taking my survey. It is anonymous, so I won't be able to send a proper thank you. Please know that I will pay your kindness forward to another doctoral student in need and will send warm thoughts out into the universe for you. Thank you for your consideration and for passing this on to eLearning faculty!

When we require our students to search for their own online resources, it is important to teach them how to find material that is reputable and of high quality. I found this guide that might be useful in teaching these concepts to students.
