Building a classroom community without machines - 0 views

  •
This education trend teaches students how to interact without social media. In the exercise called "Living Facebook Project" students learn that "friend" is not just a button you click. I plan on trying this activity with my fourth grade class as a class building activity.

Benefits of Synchronous and Asynchronous e-Learning - eLearning Industry - 1 views

  •
In an online classroom environment many of the learning activities and expectations are similar to those found in a traditional classroom. These learning environments offer meaningful interactions in a face-to-face setting and are most commonly referred to as synchronous learning activities (Hrastinski, 2008; Harris et al., 2009; Simonson et al., 2012).

Capture, edit, and share your ideas with TechSmith Camtasia - 1 views

  •
Camtasia gives you the tools you need to record on-screen activity, edit and enhance your content, and share in high-quality to viewers anywhere.
  •
I purchased Camtasia a few years ago and find to be invaluable. It is quite intuitive as long as you aren't afraid to play a bit and figure out the transitions, etc. I recommend practicing some of the zooming and highlighting techniques on a test video so you aren't trying to learn it all right when you need to create a video for class.
