Since I'm in South Africa, ... --- "My campaign has been working on the National Key Points Act for over a year, and some of the people in my team have been working on it for more than a decade. In this session, people who'd never even heard of the National Key Points broke new ground within 20 minutes."

Open publishing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

Since I'm interested in publishing, here's a good start! Open publishing is a process of creating news or other content that is transparent to the readers. They can contribute a story and see it instantly appear in the pool of stories publicly available. Those stories are filtered as little as possible to help the readers find the stories they want.

Ok, I'm new at all of this. But I seem to understand that there is a whole community out there who is keen on sharing, learning and networking. So I might just make use of it ☺ I write a blog. It's in Polish. It's about life, relationships, travels, a bit of everything. The feedback I get is positive (both about the content and the form), but my readers are not commenting it on directly, which might give the impression that it's not read. They rather leave me messages in private emails, via messenger or whatsapp. I ask myself: why? Are they shy, do they think what they have to say about it is not interesting or is it a cultural thing?
The other thing is: how can I increase the number of my readers? how can I make the blog more participative? What virtual communities/networks should I use? General ones like Facebook, Twitter or more streamlined/specialized ones like "traveling around East Africa"?
    Thanks a million,
    Tina

Since I'm Polish and I'm an Open Knowledge beginner, I was curious to know how is the concept approached in my language and this is what I found. Happy to share with other Polish-speakers.
