    The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Careers in Nursing is a scholarship program to help alleviate the nursing shortage and increase the diversity of nursing professionals. Through grants to schools of nursing, the program provides scholarships to college graduates without nursing degrees who are enrolled in accelerated baccalaureate and master's nursing programs.

    The principal investigator must be a full member of ANNA for the duration of the research project. The primary principal investigator must be a registered nurse and must have a minimum of a Masters Degree. If two (2) or more individuals are applying as co-investigators, all must be members of ANNA for the duration of the research project with at least one (1) of the co-investigators being a full member, and others being either full or associate members. Actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services. The principal or co-principal investigator(s) who are full members of ANNA must share equal responsibility with all other co-investigators for the conceptualization and implementation of the proposed research project. The principal or co-principal investigator(s) who are full members of ANNA must provide evidence of his/her/their experience and credentials demonstrating the ability to complete the research project and commitment to nephrology nursing. The project may be a new endeavor or one already in progress.

    The Indian Health Service (IHS) is accepting applications for the American Indians into Nursing cooperative agreement program. The purpose of this IHS cooperative agreement is to augment the number of Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Anesthetists who deliver health care services to AI/AN communities. The primary objectives of this cooperative agreement grant award are to: (1) recruit and train individuals to be Registered Nurses (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)) and Advance Practice Nurses (Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)); (2) provide scholarships to individuals enrolled in schools of nursing to pay tuition, books, fees, and stipends for living expenses; (3) provide a program that encourages nurses (DNP, MSN, BSN, ADN) to provide or continue to provide, health care services in health care programs; and (4) provide a program that increases the skills of, and provides continuing education to nurses (Graduate and Undergraduate).

    The National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) is offering up to twenty-nine (29) registration scholarships to attend the 29th Annual Educational Conference taking place October 2-5, 2013, at the Nashville Convention Center and Nashville Renaissance Hotel in Nashville, TN. Supported in part by a grant from Mead Johnson Nutrition, each scholarship award is equal to the early-bird conference registration rate ($220-$450) and will be distributed as a complimentary registration.
