Describes the use of geotagging for photos uploaded from some cameras and phones to the internet and being able to track to someone's home location. Represents the down side to some technology.

I feel confident in following the lead of the NLN in preparing technology savvy nurses and nurse educators. One idea was to establish a 'computer drivers license' - check on the site: http://www.icdlus.org/ Looking forward to implementing something like this.

This is an interesting site. It does appear that NC State has placed a strong emphasis on supporting distance education as well as finanical supporet to the faculty within their institution.

This video is of Michael Wesch talking to the Library of Congress is a must see for educators. Whe you have 55 minutes, you should watch it. It's worth your time, I promise. Wesch also spoke at the CHAT festival in Chapel Hill earlier this year that Newman and I attended. He hit on some of the same points, but this talk below is quite extradordinary. It is an expansion of his short video by the same name.
