TurningPoint and TurningPoint AnyWhere (both Mac and PC) are used at DUSON as a 'clicker' technology to engage students in the classroom.

A few DUSON professors are using iTouch PDAs in class. The entire DNP cohort is given an iTouch to use during the program. They are intended for downloading and viewing lectures on the run, but there are many more options for use - look here for ideas!

Copyright issues were one of the topics at the iNet conference this year. And, DUSON will hold a Teaching Conversation with the same speaker, Kevin Smith, in January.

Ok, this has gotten me motivate to try out my flip video this weekend....the potential use is great,...plan is I am going to try using it to highlight a new piece of technology that we just purchased called the sonic care, I have used this device, which is like an ultrasound machine to a vein on a person that was next to impossible to start.

This is great news. Good luck! I'm interested to find out how you edit the movie files. I've yet to find a good solution - the .mp4 files require file conversion to get into my editing software. If you have iMovie, it's not a problem ... I think. Let us know how it turns out!
