The Beast of Marriage | one thing blog - 0 views

I love the way you captured the strain and stress of married life. And I like this especially: This beast loves undivided attention. getting taken on adventures, being held in embrace. These things soothe her, make her more manageable. It is so true-that without Christ, we wouldn't have a prayer (literally!). :) Thanks for this, and for joining The High Calling Network.

This is beautiful! I'm sure I've read this verse before, but the way you explain it now makes sense. Maybe it's the season of life, but whatever the case - this is gift today. Thank you, and welcome to The High Calling!

I agree with Donna...ouch(But in a good way!) I appreciate the reminder to build my spiritual house, and make the "main things the main thing" each day, even while I'm juggling work, kids, and hubby. :) Welcome to the High Calling network--I'm glad you're a part and look forward to reading more of your excellent posts!

Caroline, I love this! I'm trying to live in the moment, too-embracing every bush that's afire with God. And I'm so, so glad you've joined The High Calling blog network. I can't wait to read more of your excellent writing. I have two boys, adore bacon and avocados (sometimes, on the same sandwich!) and love mission work (it's how I met my husband). Your ministry sounds amazing, and I can't wait to hear more about it as you share your stories and experiences with our bloggers.

My word is "JOY." I love the concept of choosing a word and not a resolution. In fact, I decided this year to pray for "revolution" and not make resolutions. :) I like the name of your blog and am glad you've joined THC network. I look forward to getting to know you as you have time to participate!
