I love this: "We don't have to wait for spring to see the hope of the daffodil. He gives it to us daily - a golden scepter extended to us of hope, grace, love, mercy and acceptance." Wow. I am so floored by the life you're leading. I work with refugees and know that those who died were refugees trying to escape persecution. Any how, I adore the title of your blog (such a neat picture, too) and I absolutely think your boys are going to grow up to be extraordinary men. So true, so true. I've been on much the same journey this year and God has proved Himself faithful time and time again. It's so easy to listen to the enemy instead of our Best Friend…and His Word. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and how God's been teaching you. Many people are hurting and in distress right now and it's great to find a ministry that's dedicated to showing them Jesus' light. Oh, and welcome to HCB-I look forward to seeing more of your excellent writing there.

I LOVE the Princess Bride (my hubby and two boys do too) and we've memorized so much of it. But I've never thought of Jesus' baptism in this way. Thanks for sharing your insights-and I'm so glad you've joined The High Calling. We are glad to have you!
