This resource is a place to share assessments, lesson plans, activities, and other tools for teaching information literacy concepts in higher education settings. There are a lot of ideas on how to use technology in our teaching.

Otter processes your audio or video files - in real time or after they are created - and generates a text file with a transcript. It automatically recognizes and designates different speakers, and allows you to give them names before downloading the text file. The fee tier gives 600 minutes of transcription per month. I am uploading my lecture videos after they are generated, and posting the transcriptions in my LMS for students.

As much as I appreciated this article for how it addresses the benefits of an avatar with virtual reality learning, I mostly appreciated the real-world support VR could offer-including virtual reality field trips. Discovery Education and Google Expeditions seem to be frontrunners for virtual reality field trips.
