Free podcast hosting. Great site for weblogging all your podcasts

I find that this parking place for podcasts is efficient and effective. So far I have posted two podcasts using podbean, and I plan to have my students hold material on this website in future courses.

I created this webpage for an in-service I presented to my colleagues at a faculty development day. It offers several simple ways to integrate technology into lessons, with a focus on revivifying those lessons we get tired of teaching over and over. I hope you may find it useful!

I am currently enrolled in both the Tech Tools course and the Instructional Design Course. This web page about where the different tech tools fit in a "Blooms Taxonomy" scheme is a great resource for both classes.

This is terrific. I am going to show it to the teachers at my school. It will help all of us think more clearly about all those tools.

Diigo's latest upgrade has made it all the rage. My twitter is full of diigo related tweets and many, many of the blogs that I read contain posts and comments about this excellent web application.

Thanks for the post Rick - Twitter was a breeze in comparison to Diigo. Maybe I'll come around. :-)

Has anyone used this software? Wondering how we can use this to create focus of a specific action area in the animation. Any other similar tool?

I love snagit- my favorite tool when i want a fast screen capture!

One of my colleagues likes to create a "Wall" for major topics in his course such as the Cold War. This takes the places of a conventional classroom bulletin board where instructor and students can post photos and web sites and their own work.

So this has nothing to do with Tech Tools but through my frustrations to get all of this to coalesce on Diigo for the assignment, I stumbled upon a funny video, enjoy!

If you use Google Talk (Google's instant messaging client) or just chat from inside your GMail account, you can set up a HTML "badge" that you can copy on to any webpage so that visitors can just click a link and start chatting with you. I've used a badge copied on to my Blackboard site to allow students to instant message me. The advantages are that the student doesn't need to sign up for a Google account to use this, and they don't even have to know your gmail account address to chat with you since you can make the badge say whatever you like.

Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!

Love Dropbox! This has been so helpful to me when I was working on my dissertation and also for preparation for courses and sharing them to students and colleagues.

This is a fun site that you can use to create a cartoon. I have used this for my teach back and it has received great reviews. Takes some time to get acquainted with it. But for those that likes a creative side of presentation, here it is.
