Fatwa is very important to the Islamic law and Islamic law. Fatwa Islamic scholar of public opinion on a particular topic in the light of Quran and Sunnah. Now days many Muslims Ulam similar fatwas issued criticized by Western human rights activists and lawmakers. Recently thought the Darul Uloom, Deoband, India, to reduce it commendable work, which is also to fatwas on women to a status that is lower than that of a man. Even fatwas on Talaq are also criticized. Such rulings and fatwas are issued because some lawyer or the other way had hundreds of years ago without a thoughtful social conditions and local time. Many of these fatwas on the controversial Hadith / Sunnah and there is no Ijma (consensus) in such cases. These researchers see only medieval sources and follow taqlid (mechanical ventilators), because it was considered safe by many Islamic scholars.

Dataran Arab dibagi menjadi Arab bagian selatan dan Arab bagian utara yang dihuni oleh banyak suku dan kerajaan non-muslim dengan agama resmi berupa Kristen dan Yahudi. Suku Ad dan Thamud sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam al-Quran juga berhubungan dengan periode ini. Tanah Arab menghadapi periode perang yang panjang di antara dua kerajaan besar, Bizantium dan Sassanid yang membuka jalan bagi kaum nomaden Arab. Kaum Arab nomaden mengajarkan Islam dengan cara yang despotis dan otokratis. Sampai perang terakhir antara Bizantium-Sassanid pada tahn 630 Masehi, agama Islam sudah berada di bawah kekuasaan mutlak Nabi Muhammad Saw.
