KARACHI: India has decided to issue a visa to Pakistani batting legend Javed Miandad. The decision of India's External Affairs Ministry to issue the visa was protested by the Congress and Shiv Sena. Miandad will travel to New Delhi where he will see the last match of the three ODI series against Pakistan and India on January 6. According to the Indian External Affairs Ministry, Miandad was being issued the visa because he was a high ranking official of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

COLD Wave is around the world.Few people died in Ireland last month and now its south Asia turn.India/Pakistan/Bangladesh are all hit by this Cold weather along with neighbor countries. More than 100 people died of exposure as northern India dealt with historically cold temperatures, police said. Police spokesman Surendra Srivastava said Thursday that at least 114 people had died from the cold in the state of Uttar Pradesh. At least 23 of those had died in the past 24 hours. Srivastava said many of the dead were poor people whose bodies were found on sidewalks or in parks

We Muslims are obliged to eat and live Halal. Muslims are programmed to be the followers of the Messengers of Allah; however, the Last and Final Messenger of Allah accentuated on the significance of Halal food. Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) said: "Allah Almighty is pure and accepts only pure (Halal) Deeds" The things Allah has ordered Muslims to do are the same things He had ordered his Messengers to do.

In a time of growing persecution of Muslims in the West and trials to put restrictions on their worship rights, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit accusing the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation of violating the civil liberties and rights when it sent an informant to a number of mosques in California to spy on American Muslims. The judge said that allowing consideration of the case of violating the Muslim Liberties and its investigation may reveal the secrets of government, according to Reuters. The Judge Cormac Carney said when stating the reasons for his judgment that he had to put the interests of U.S. national security over the individual liberties. But the judge after a hearing session in the U.S. District Court in Santa Ana allowed going forward in the case against five current and former officers of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The prosecutors said in their claim that they violated the law of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance. The lawsuit, which was provided last year to the District Court in Santa Ana that the FBI sent a paid informant named Craig Monteilh to some mosques in Orange County to gather information on hundreds, or perhaps thousands of Muslims.

When I was finishing my article "On verses and signs congregated around the origin", I've noticed one very interesting detail in the Arabic root conveying the meaning ayat, the word used in the Qur'an to both name its verses and the signs of God: the fact that اى is formed by the first and last letters of Arabic alphabet.

Syrian people are struggling hard to raise their voice and get the freedom from the President Bashar al- Assad. The international community includes the UN, realize the sufferings of the Syrian people and try to resolve them. In the last month the China and Russia veto the resolution in the UN against the Syrian President. They stood in the way of effective international intervention in the Syrian conflict. France is trying to convince them so to put sanctions against the President Bashar al- Assad.

The Holy month, Ramadan is the month of discipline, worship, morality, praying, peace and pretty much every good moral that would ever come across your mind. During this month Muslims around the world spend the daylight hours in a complete fast. Muslims would spend this whole month in repentance and trying to become closer to Allah, Reading Qur'an, praying day and night asking for forgiveness and thanking God for all his blessings on us. Over 25,000 members and campaigner of several Muslim societies on last Saturday staged a protest at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai to protest alleged attacks on Muslims in Myanmar. The motive of this protest was to demand the peace for the Burma's Muslims and also to stop violence. The massacre of Muslims in Burma is pointed out by many international organizations including the Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. These both organizations witness the killing of Muslims in Burma and have called for international interventions.

أيها المسلمون اغتنموا مواسم الأرباح فقد فتحت أسواقها، وداوموا قرع أبواب التوبة قبل أن تغلق أبوابها، فنحن الآن في العشر الأواخر من شهر رمضان الكريم، أيام العتق من النار، فمن ضاع منه الأيام الماضية، يجب عليه اغتنام الأيام القليلة المتبقية، لعل الله يعتقه ويتقبل توبته. فإن الغفلة تمنع الربح والمعصية تقود إلي الخسارة، فالعامل لغير الله ضائعة أعماله، فإن الأسباب كلها منقطعه إلا أسبابه، والأبواب كلها مغلقة إلا أبوابه. فإن النعيم يكون في التلذذ بمناجاة الله عز وجل، والراحة في التعب في خدمة الخالق جل علاه. يا أيها المسلمون إن الأيام تمضي سريعا، وكثير من الناس في غمرة ساهون وعن الذكر معرضون، فقد قال الله تعالى في كتابه العزيز: " وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا" ( الفرقان: 62) صدق الله العظيم.
