Muslim Academy on 10 Jan 13Husain and Hamza Abdullah made a trip to Mecca in 2012 because they felt that it was something that was very important. They told their coaches that they would no longer be able to play in that season. Husain was 27 years old and was a member of the Minnesota Vikings whereas Hamza was 29 years old and he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals. They went on pilgrimage because they wanted to show Americans another side of their life and inform them about their faith. These two footballs players used to play in front of thousands of fans every week. They were also given around a million dollars every single year. They gave all of that up so that they could complete one pillar of Islam.
