Ḥawqala - la hawla wala quwwata - Very beautiful voice - YouTube - 0 views

  •
The meaning of this phrase (there is no power and no strength except with Allaah) is a person's admission that he is unable to do anything without the help and support of Allaah. No matter how great his power, energy and strength may become, a person still cannot do anything without the help of Allaah Who is Above all of His creation, the Most Great, compared to Whom nothing else is great. Every strong person is weak when compared with Allaah. Every great person is insignificant and weak when compared with His Might. This sentence is uttered when some serious matter befalls a person that he cannot cope with, or there is something that it is very difficult for him to deal with.

Great Muslim Dishes in Small Towns - 0 views

  •
I have been a traveller for almost three ears now, and my favorite destination is the mountainous region of Lanao del Norte in Mindanao where natives are living mixed with Muslim races. One thing that fascinates me the most in those areas is not the beautiful views and good environments, in which anions are abundant and fresh mineral waters are everywhere, but the delicious dishes and delicacies of Muslim people. Yes! Muslims are good chefs with spicy twist in every recipe. So yummy! So, let's forget about the war and conflicts for a while and taste the common dishes of Muslims in Mindanao.

Muslims Are Diverting Away From Islam - 0 views

  •
Islam is a great religion that teaches an individual how to live their life. There are new followers of this religion every single day. However, Islam is losing its true meaning in the minds of many people. People go around calling themselves Muslims, but they do things that totally go against Islam. The Islamic values are deteriorating because people have become so disillusioned by Western ideas. There are so many things exposed on television, songs, and through life experiences that it becomes difficult for a person to discern between right or wrong. Individuals in Muslim countries and even in the West are exposed to so much that it is hard for the Muslim to actually live their life according to the teachings of Islam.

The Real Causes of Indo-Pak Tension - 0 views

  •
Today the Indo-Pak region is known as the biggest security threat for global peace; it is in fact the most disastrous nuclear flash point of the world. There are a number of causes responsible for the continuous tension between the two nuclear states. The causes can include the Kashmir dispute, Water issues, border issues, Muslims' Massacre in India, Siachen dispute, terrorism and many others. However, keeping ourselves neutral if we look at the real root cause of the Indo-Pak dispute, we will come to a conclusion that basically it is the mentality of the military in both the countries which is the biggest obstacle in the way of peace. The two countries could have resolved most of their disputes peacefully in the past but it was the typical mindset of the military that acted as the biggest hurdle on every occasion.

The Controversy of Hijab in France - 0 views

  •
The controversy of Hijab is the hottest topic in France nowadays. The controversy was also erupted some years back but died down soon. However, this time the government seems committed to impose ban on wearing Hijab for Muslim women especially in schools and offices. The government has also shown its concerns for wearing Veils in different public places for security concerns. The justification given by the French government in support of alleged ban is that it is against the secular values of France. To prove this justification the government also imposed ban on wearing crosses or skull caps for Christian and Jews. If we analyze the act of French government keeping ourselves neutral, it is fairly against the basic freedom rights of the people. Every person has a right to wear whatever he or she likes then how a government can dictate people what to wear and what to not. As far as the justification about secularism concerns, the aspect of basic rights of freedom is far superior to so called secular indications, if the people are not free to enjoy freedom then the secularism is of no use. Moreover, if we look at the scriptures of all the major religions we would reach to a conclusion that Hijab is not the identity of mere Muslim women but all the major religions direct women to wear Hijab. Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Islam all talk about Hijab. So how can we go against the beliefs of billions of people around the world, going against the desires of billions just to serve the vested interests and illogical justifications of a few politicians are absolutely rubbish, senseless and ridicules.

The need of time it to bring a change and show people the true and actual side of Islam. This blog will move around the misconceptions about Islam and how we can snub them and how we can change the discernment of individuals against Islam. Every religion has good and bad people and we should always look towards good to spread happiness and to avoid conflict. Islam is a prominent and well spread religion worldwide and it contains people of all kind. There were several incidents after which people and especially people of the west started thinking that Muslims are terrorists, extremists and merciless people like the incident of 9/11. This perception is wrong and we should not blame all the Muslims for this bizarre incident done by some ruthless people. Mecca is the origin of Islam and a Holy City for every Muslim. In a pre-Islamic period, people there worship idols, ignorance everywhere, buried girls, injustice and no status of women. After the conquest of Mecca all these things came to an end. And people start living a peaceful life according to Islam. Mecca was conquered by Muslims in 20th Ramadan, 8 AH (Jan, 630 CE). In 628 a treaty was signed between Meccan tribe of Quraysh and Muslims in Medina, called "Treaty of Hudaybiyyah". It was a 10 year truce.

He, Who has created death and life that He might test you, as to whose work, is excellent among you. And Heis the Esteemed one the Forgiving. Who made seven heavens one upon the other. What difference do you see in the making of the MostAffectionate? Then look again carefully, do you see any crack? Then look again and again, the sight will return back to you defeated and fatigued. And undoubtedly, We adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and made them things to beat devils, andprepared for them the torment of blazing fire.
