Yesterday, on January 10, 2012, a deadly blast in Swat killed 22 people and 70 were brutally injured. The blast took place at the weekly gathering of Muslims at a Tablighi Jamaat markaz (preacher's event) in the suburbs of Mangora. In the religious center, people of Tablighi Jamat used to gather every Thursday to spread their faith and beliefs. This center was located at an area in the main town and was once under the control of militant groups during the army operations in 2009.
