The Texas Music Educators' Association website keeps Texas music educators in the know of what is going on with legislature, events, job boards, mentoring services, etc.

This website is a tool to advocate music education and technology to a widespread group of people, and allow readers to write feedback on the website. As well as the feedback, this site is for the general musician audience to search for resources that will help with teaching in schools and responding to young musicians. This website includes articles about music technology and its benefits and uses, posts about music education, the advocacy of music and its importance to all students, and general posts about things such as copyright laws, orchestra and its instruments, apps for music, and planning education tools for teachers.

The purpose of this blog is to provide examples of teaching ideas and lesson plans for k-5 general music classes with worksheets and/or sheet music. The content focuses on rhythmic and melodic structure as well as accompanying lyrics. Historical content associated with the music is included as well as some video and audio recordings.

This community website is for children to share songs, build communities themselves, and create ideas with other children which will allow growth as a students and music lover. The purpose of this site is to give adults and students feedback on events happening, gatherings of music lovers, and to give insight into the quality of music. This site includes children's links to other websites such as Kids Music Connection and Children's Radio List. It also articles that include songs to sing, literacy learning, and events that take place within different regions of the United States.

This SFCV site is for the arts community to read articles, listen to podcast from other orchestras, and allow users to purchase tickets to concerts. Another purpose is to allow youth to explore new music that they might not know or understand yet. This website includes upcoming events in the San Francisco area, Critic Reviews, the ability to listen to music online, and other music resources such as biographies on composers and musicians of today, and from the past.

This podcast site is for educators to discover new ideas in music education and technology while listening to the voices of Joseph Pisano and Darren Morton talk about those ideas. This site is meant to give quality opinions on the latest trends in education. PodOmatic includes podcast on certain music education and technology topics, videos of marching bands performing, and the ability to create your own podcast dealing with music issues. There are websites included that direct one other podcasts from followers of the website and educators.

This website is run by a personal friend of mine, Jennifer Fink. The website includes free teacher resources that are available to print and play with students. I especially like the Crazy Keys game to help students with notes on the piano.

This website has the purpose of gaining knowledge on saxophone musicians, and ways to practice, listen, and fine tune the sound one makes. It has articles and techniques that are meant to give saxophonists needed guidance on history, ways to improve performance, and how to perform with different styles. This site includes different genres or saxophone performance, such as classical, jazz, be bop, rock and blues, and regae. There are other links for purchasing music, mouthpieces, saxophones, and practice books.
