Tonal Energy provides individualized instruction and videos for band and orchestra students. Each instrument is listed and linked to a fingering chart, exercises, scales, instrument care, and videos of professional artists. The website also has a place for discussion between other musicians, teachers, and students. One of the best items about Tonal Energy is the tuner App. The TE Tuner provides a visual representation beyond the original needle and shows the students proper intonation through a smiley face and colored circles.

Teachers and students can also customize the flashcards for their own needs. It is appropriate for beginners through advanced musicians and the collection is growing every week.

One of most common ways of recognizing intervals is by associating them with songs that are familiar. This website provides an excellent list of reference songs for every interval. They also include recordings of each reference song. Each excerpt illustrates the interval it is associated with. Earmaster also includes various ear training exercises for musicians at all levels. Lessons examine jazz styles, performers, and composers. The website provides instructors with video and audio media, handouts and quizzes for students, and assessments.
