Shooting an iPhone video with your fiends just got a lot more interesting. Meet Vyclone, a social video creation, collaboration, and sharing app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Available Thursday, the app lets two or more users create a collaborative video with others who are also shooting an iPhone video in physical proximity to them even if you're not friends with or even aware the other people are shooting a video.

Another example of the collaborative economy trumping ownership plus you get to see Beyonce's butt.

"We've seen touch-friendly tables before, but they're rarely so slick as the Multi Surface Experience, a newly launched collaboration between design firm Gensler and ad agency The Hive. The installation lets guests explore Gensler's architectural portfolio (the book you see above) just by walking up to a wavy table. An overhead projector, Kinect for Windows and special software present an interface wherever people stand; when users choose to learn more about a project, it pops up on a wall-mounted 4K display."

A team of researchers from Carnegie Mellon University, in collaboration with the University of Minnesota, has made a breakthrough in the field of noninvasive robotic device control. Using a noninvasive brain-computer interface (BCI), researchers have developed the first-ever successful mind-controlled robotic arm exhibiting the ability to continuously track and follow a computer cursor.

"Seurat, a new tool that allows for rendering of very high resolution immersive content even on mobile VR devices that don't necessarily have the best specs. To demonstrate Seurat's capabilities, Google showed off a collaboration with ILMxLAB, which brings cinematic-quality renders from Star Wars to interactive mobile VR."
