Amazon announced this morning a plan to spread adoption of its payments service, Amazon Payments, to more third-party websites. With the launch of its Amazon Payments Global Partner Program, the retailer will help e-commerce platform providers and other developers integrate with Amazon Payments so their own merchants can offer the option to "Pay with Amazon" at checkout.

Amazon is hoping to extend its reach and integration beyond its own properties with yesterday's launch of Login with Amazon. The new service lets Amazon's 200+ million users to sign into websites, games and apps with their Amazon logins. Third-party developers can implement Login with Amazon on their web and mobile properties in the same way they integrate social logins like Facebook, Twitter and Google.

Hoping to tap into India's rapidly growing e-commerce market, Amazon (NSDQ: AMZN) is launching Junglee.com in the country today. Junglee.com is not another "international Amazon" like Amazon.fr or Amazon.de. Rather, it is a marketplace that aims to connect buyers with online and offline retailers. Online retailer Amazon and toy company Mattel's HIT Entertainment have partnered together to bring HIT Entertainment's popular children's cartoon Fireman Sam exclusively to the online retailer. Amazon will show episodes of Fireman Sam via streaming and will also have them available for download in Amazon Instant Video, Prime Instant Video, and FreeTime Unlimited. Amazon will also show related merchandise, including toys, ebooks, games, apparel, footwear, lunch boxes and more.
