Niner Air 9 Carbon: Tested - 0 views

  •
29″ wheels on a bike…? I was a hater, straight up. The first wagon-wheeled bikes made tandem recumbent look like a better time. A 29er hardtail was like a healthy doughnut, you just knew it wasn't any good. With time and acceptance came a whole new breed of 29″ wheeled bikes. Traditional trail bike and gravity oriented company's began stamping out designs. With just the right amount of timing, like playing the stock market, the moment to bite was here. Mike Stanley, our Niner Bikes rep, had the right bait on the hook and set it.

A Brief Education in Cycling - 0 views

  •
On the list of the most high-profile sports in the world, cycling does not necessarily fall within the top ten. In fact, most of us know very little about the sport in general. Though bicycles are among the most familiar objects known to man, we are much more likely to associate them with training wheels and leisurely bike rides, not competitive, heart-pumping athletic activity.

Causes and Prevention of Injuries in Motor Cycle Accidents - 0 views

  •
Motor cycles are single-track two wheeled motor vehicle. They have become a common means of transport and they are quite fast just like a motor vehicle. They are also affordable and most people who do not have cars have them. Due to the high speed that they travel in, they are more prone to road accidents than automobiles. The other reason is that they are driven in the same road as vehicles and they are less noticeable and therefore are knocked down fast.

Shimano XTR Shadow+ Derailleur = Tested - 0 views

  •
A new addition to the SHIMANO XTR Dyna-Sys drive train is the RD-M985 SHADOW PLUS rear derailleur. It features a switch at the pulley cage to enforce a heavierspring tension and activate a friction stabilizer to counteract the forces of up and down chain momentum in rough terrain. Chain bouncing can often cause noise as the chain slaps the top and bottom of the chain stay, or even derail from the front chain ring in extreme circumstances. The switch when selected to the "ON" position dampens the cage and consequent chain movement for a nearly silent and stable riding experience. In the "OFF" position it eases the installation and removal of the rear wheel by relaxing the spring tension of the cage.
