Great program! I did all of my online facilitation training with ETLO. Well worth my time. Now teaching online courses for eLearning for Educators in Missouri using Moodle.

Journal is dead - long live online text assignment... Online Assignment is improved in Moodle 2.0. We gave it the 'quick view' screen that Journal has so that you can see all the student's responses. I hope it should then be very similar. If there are any outstanding issues I'd be happy to look at them.

Checklist for Online Instructors: Before the course begins

Hosted by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework), this FREE three day national online conference, will be held on Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th June 2011. The conference will showcase e-learning and e-technology through a series of web-conferencing presentations and short and snapy lunch-time EXPO sessions. Participants will hear how vocational education and training (VET) practitioners, training providers and businesses are using e-learning pedagogy, e-tools and e-technologies to develop and deliver new and flexible training options.

Each new version of Moodle allows teachers to create more engaging online courses, and do so more easily as Moodle becomes more user-friendly. It also puts extra strain on the server(s) it runs on. I have been asking myself for a while: "Just how much more horsepower do each new versions of Moodle require?" October being Oktobertest for me, I thought I'd investigate further and run some tests of my own.
