This is a wonderful site for example math webquests at the high school level.

Well-sorted tools with brief descriptions. Great for introducing newbies to the subject, but experienced people will like the summary, as well.

I wish we could add tags to other people's items without overwriting their authorship!

Steven, you shared a link and I wanted to add a tag to it. However, Diigo does not have a separate "add tag" function. The only way to add a new tag is to share the same link to the group, again. However, it overrides the author - now the link says "Shared by Maria Droujkova" even though you linked it first. I hope it makes sense. The Math 2.0 Interest Group is an international network of researchers, educators, families, community leaders and technology enablers. We are collaborating on a variety of research and development projects and conversation threads about social media as it relates to mathematics and mathematics education.

Nice set of applets that let students explore fraction understanding from multiple perspectives and models. I love that they use a variety of models for fractional development, including bars (multiple versions), sets, and linear. From the site:  "Why Fractions? Fractions are one of the earliest stumbling blocks for students in math. Our goal is building conceptual understanding in fractions as a basis for comprehension in all later topics."

This slide show demonstrates some techniques that would be suitable for an experimental geometry project. The basic shapes of square and circle are explored using open source Geogebra and Dr Geo geometry software. The examples includes exercises in geometric construction, novel solutions and recursive (spiral) constructions. This is mathematics that can be done without algebra. There is some algebra on slide 18, to calculate the radius and area of a semicircle inscribed in a square.
