The Green Energy Act Finance Forum will be taking place on Jan 29. This forum will bring leading experts from around the world to Toronto to speak to Ontario's financial community about investing in renewable energy under Ontario's new Feed In Tariff program. The forum is presented by the MaRS Discovery District, the Green Energy Act Alliance and D & D Securities.

The Green Living Show will be held in Toronto from April 13-15, 2012. MaRS Cleantech Fund is one of the panel of experts who help to select the exhibitors.

The Green Energy Act Finance Forum is taking place at the MaRS Centre on January 29, 2010. Tom Rand, MaRS Cleantech Advisor, states, "The one-day event, held at the MaRS Centre, was put together to "unlock" local capital and help accelerate the flow of investment into Ontario's booming renewable power sector."

MaRS is hosting a forum on Jan. 29 for the finance sector on investment opportunities presented by the Green Energy Act. The forum is intended primarily for financial institutions who will be putting cash into projects under the act and the "sector players who will require that finance."

Canada is seriously committed to phasing out all coal-fired electricity generation within five years and to becoming North America's leading green jurisdiction. To help to do this Ontario has passed a Green Energy Act with strong incentives .
