We provide free laptops, tablets, robots and internet access to seriously ill children for educational purposes. We envision all seriously ill children in America continuing their education uninterrupted despite their medical condition or financial limitation. We provide the tools and support needed to connect children, face-to-face with their classrooms and teachers, family and friends and medical teams. Simply stated, we connect kids when their world is out of reach.

"OATC Staff created these materials as examples of modified curriculum and evaluation tools which can directly support teaching activities related to the Curriculum Access Resource Guide Alternate (CARG-A) and the Oklahoma Alternate Assessment Program Portfolio (OAAP). Using these materials does not guarantee a passing score on the OAAP. Each teacher should evaluate these materials and make necessary adjustments to insure they are appropriate to the learning needs of individual students."

Page fluffers are helpful in fostering independent literacy skills. Page fluffers are simple adaptations made to books or other reading material that make pages more accessible to turn. Page fluffers increase the space between the pages of a book, allowing those with limited fine motor skills to get their fingers between each page therefore making it easier to turn a page. You can use a variety of different materials to make page fluffers. A fluffer can be glued, taped, or clipped to the corner of each page.
