I wonder what the woman's first name is. If it was very similar, for example only a letter off, I can see why the names would be confused.

Police: Mother kills her 2 'mouthy' teens - U.S. news - Crime & courts - msnbc.com - 0 views

  • An arrest affidavit said Schenecker shot her son twice in the head "for talking back" as she drove him to soccer practice Thursday night. She drove home, went inside and shot her daughter in the back of head while the teen sat at a computer doing homework, then shot her in the face, the affidavit said.
    • Seth Fahringer

Why, or how, could someone possibly do this to their children? Most people view their children as the meaning of life. Detectives believe the children never even saw it coming. And for the evil way she did it. It's just terrible. How could any human being do such a thing to another?
  • Julie Schenecker was jailed and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
    • Seth Fahringer

She deserves the death penalty for what she's done to her one children. Your the one who layed down in the bed, and produce your beautiful kids. you gave birth to them. By laying in the bed, you were accepting the responsibility to have children. Then you take their lives for being mouthy?!

  • According to prosecutors, Aasiya Hassan had filed for divorce less than a week before she died.
    • Michelle Perritt

'Jihad Jane': 'Jihad Jane' pleads guilty in terrorism plot - latimes.com - 1 views

    • Purnima Malik

This might be too early for me to say this but, it seems like someone cannot take a joke! And what's up with the name "Jihad Jane". Is a nickname or a legal name? Is this American a male or female? (I would like to guess female because of the name Jane attached to the end.)
  • Colleen LaRose, 47, avoids a trial but sets herself up for a potential life sentence in prison and a $1-million fine. She initially pleaded not guilty in March.
    • Purnima Malik

Was Jane and LaRose working together? Why does LaRose get to avoid a trial when she obviously gave the wrong plead?
  • LaRose is accused of conspiring with others in Asia and Europe to kill Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks, who drew the prophet Muhammad's head on a dog's body in 2007.
    • Purnima Malik

Nevermind, about the whole joke thing (in my first comment.) That's a little harsh- trust me with that. At the same time when Saddam Hussein's statues were toppled over, no one bother to kill the masses who participated in that. It shouldn't matter what other people think. The truth is not everybody will like you and they might be thinking about drawing your head on a dog's body too. On a side note, I was in Model United Nations last year- in this club we skipped school to attend Mock UN meetings. The presiding officer was completely rude and annoying, so the assembly would pass around really, really bad notes about him (including drawings of him similar to the dog's body thing.) Anyways, when he found out he ran out of the room literally crying. In both cases it is an overreaction.

The message attracted contacts from people in Asia and Europe who invited LaRose to travel to Europe and train with jihadists, according to court documents.

Oh, so LaRose is Jane. It seems like she lost her original intentions "to help the suffering Muslim people." Because killing someone else doesn't do anything but hurt other people. For the record killing someone else doesn't boost (at least it shouldn't boost a mentality stable persons) confidence. She could have helped in so many other ways, it is a shame.
