    Data is drawn from an inductive research project, which examined school Internet risk discourses, institutional attempts to control 'net' use and student responses to such practices, in eight educational establishments in the north of England. over three years. In examining internet regulation policy, Oswell (1998) notes that distinctions are drawn between the 'child-in-danger' and the dangerous child.While exaggerated risk discourses might result in over-blocking, with students being pushed away from using school cyberspace, the Internet simultaneously offers seductive pulls, encouraging teachers and students to be adventurous in their pursuit of knowledge online.

    Using the results of interviews conducted with twenty-two 14 - 18 year olds​, this study looks at how adolescents use social media platforms to regulate emotions. Findings include that adolescents do us different platforms to share different emotions. In the case of the subjects in this study Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram were used to share positive emotions and Messenger and Twitter to share negative emotions.

Copyright: Regulation Out of Line with Our Digital Reality?: EBSCOhost - 1 views

    This paper provides a brief overview of the current state of copyright law in the United States, focusing on the negative impacts of these policies on libraries and patrons. The article discusses four challenges current copyright law presents to libraries and the public in general, highlighting three concrete ways intellectual property law interferes with digital library services and systems. Finally, the author suggests that a greater emphasis on copyright literacy and a commitment among the library community to advocate for fairer policies is vital to correcting the imbalance between the interests of the public and those of copyright holders
