A web 2.0 tool that allows you to share your screen images or videos and share them.

Jing is a great web 2.0 tool for sharing your screen and recording objects for students when they are absent. There is also screencast, quicktime, or even Camtasia Studio.

Jing is an awesome tool and I have used this tool many times sense I learned of its existence two years ago.

A Wiki to share lesson plans and look for curriculum ideas. A quick search generates many options, downloadable and ready to go!

Great resource! Although it states K-12, I think many of the ideas can be re-tooled for higher education also. It is so great to have the tools so readily available. Why try to reinvent the wheel? This resource shares great, tested ideas, and as you said, downloadable and ready to go!

What a great resource! Thanks for sharing it with us. I will be able to use this resource as I create and plan my themed units for the year. I really like that I can search by theme and grade and then tie that directly to the core. This resource is primarily for teachers as it pertains to planning for instruction.

Animoto is a creative way to share videos, music, photos, and presentations and turn them into videos.

Ashley, Animato is a great way to make and share a video in a short period of time. I have used Animato with students and they love the ease of program. I used this with HS students, but I know that our grade school teachers have used it as young as fourth grade. Great program - Thanks

Another presentation on how Google Apps can be utilized in the classroom.  I was looking for presentations to share with my staff, and found this one.  The resources and examples are plentiful.  This could also be used to share with students.  

Great article to share with Tech Cadre. We are working towards implementing GoogleDocs at school and this would be a great article to share.

Audioboo is a free web based resource that allows you to record and share audio recordings. You can also upload a picture with the audio. Audioboo is available for mobile platforms.

A very powerful idea curator much like Pinterest.  Learnist lets you collect ideas, resources, etc. and pin them to boards.  You can then share with students or other teachers.

This is the educational blog of a principle of the science leadership academy in Philadelphia. I was reading some of the main blogs and I thought it was worth sharing with this class.  

This website allows classes to connect and collaborate with each other.  Students and educators are able to access their homework, share content, and check their grades on this site.  I would use this for all subjects in order to keep in touch with students whenever they need me.

I really enjoyed exploring this website. I really like the fact that it is a secure website. We sometimes find websites in which can lead us to false information or unwanted information so I feel that this one is one that I would feel safe about including in my own classroom. Thank you for sharing.

Edmodo provides teachers and students a secure place to connect and collaborate.

This blog has a lot of cute and creative ideas to use in a first grade classroom.  I plan to use this site to generate some ideas for my future classroom.

This blog is awesome, i really liked it and enjoyed it. this will be very useful for kids. this blog have been designed to meet specific reading aspects for grade 1 students. well done work.

Thanks for sharing this blog. Although I am a Special Education teacher I still felt like their were a lot of ideas I could apply to my classroom. It's always fun to see what other educators out their are doing. This blog would be used primarily for teachers as its all about ideas in the classroom for instruction and projects. However you could use it to create a project choice list for you students to choose to complete so many by the end of the year.

This is a great tool to use in order to show your students how to get started on their own blogs.  I would use this with older students in order to get them started on sharing different ideas that they might have with each other.

iPad Schools is a wiki for sharing iPad resources, apps, and ideas.  A good site for collaborating about iPads.  Useful for 1:1 implementation ideas.

A ning (kind of like a wiki) that is all about iPads in education.  Have a cool idea?  Join the ning and submit your own.

I thought this resource was great and thought provoking for the educator that has access to i pads in the classroom. Not only could educators use this source but parents as well. I also agree with Randon that it has student uses as well. I agree with Randon as well that many other resources and social media pages such as facebook and twitter are available, however the creation of this site gives a different navigational system to explore.

This is a great resource for teachers and students in the classroom. The more resources that we have the greater the level of learning can be. Teachers and students will benefit for this resource. Thanks for sharing

This is a good way to do intensive planning to integrate technology into your classroom, or to plan technology lessons.  It is a K-12 resource and includes video examples of classrooms.

What a great reference tool for any teacher, not just technology users.

Wow! This is seriously a great planning resource. This should be utilized for this course, as an additional resource to look at how to more effectively integrate some of the technology we are learning about into our own lesson planning. I am bookmarking this onto my own lists, right now. Obviously a tool for teachers more than for students, I will be using this for a unit planning assignment I'm doing in my Human Relations course right now! Thanks for sharing!

To The Lesson is a teacher blog that is full of classroom ideas, organizational tips, management tips, etc. that can be helpful to use as ideas for any classroom!

This blog's simplicity is what I liked best about it. It shows great pictures and is organized in a way that easy to understand. Also, it gives great ideas for early education. I plan on teaching k-2 so this could give me great ideas for fun lessons!

I found the first few posts in this blog to be really interesting, although probably not very useful for me as a future teacher. I don't know much about Montessori teaching or schools. Based on my initial impressions, and the fact that I fully plan on being a "messy classroom" teacher (lots of differentiation, lots of AT (I'm a special education minor in addition to being an ed. tech. minor), I'm not sure how much my classroom philosophy and organizational principals could relate to this teacher's. A very different perspective, to be sure! If I ever have free time (maybe over winter break!?) I'd like to read more about what this Montessori stuff is all about; I'm especially interested in the value of the "Practical Life" work this teacher is doing?? Totally different than anything I've seen in my educational training. Thanks for sharing. :)

This amazing new tool (new to me at least) allows you to create a short story and set it to music using the Google Docs interface. When you are done it creates a short link to share out to all your family and friends. This has amazing implications in education and technology for use as a quick check for understanding, overview video, formative assignment, or quick creative writing assignments.

This looks like exactly what I would like to try with my students to get them doing some collaborative story writing! I would use this for creative story writing, research, and as a planning tool in 3rd grade.

This would be a cool idea in the classroom for sure!!!! Perhaps, they can collaborate and create their story before making a video or presentation - which could also be created collaboratively.
