This wiki is devoted to posting various Web 2.0 tools that can be incorporated into the classroom. Teachers could use this wiki to search for different presentation tools, collaborative tools, research tools, image tools, audio tools, etc. Many resources!
Excellent Livebinder for finding just the right tool. Web 2.0 resources for photo, video, audio, digital storytelling, broadcasting, visualization, writing, drawing, blogging, polling, avatars and much more.
What a great collection of Web 2.0 resources in on spot. I had no idea there was so much available in some of the areas. This site would be a great time-saver when looking for a specific tool. I've seen other lists, but this is well organized and easy to navigate.
Thanks for sharing this resource. It is a very straightforward tool that could easily be used by both teachers and students. I can envision teachers using it to record lectures, assignment explanations, comments on assignments, etc. Students could use it as a component of a lesson.
Ashley,
Animato is a great way to make and share a video in a short period of time. I have used Animato with students and they love the ease of program. I used this with HS students, but I know that our grade school teachers have used it as young as fourth grade. Great program - Thanks
EdTech Teacher Resource starts with the learning goals, provides tool suggestions, descriptions, examples, usefulness ratings, and ease of use ratings. This website is an excellent resource for any teacher integrating technology in the classroom.
I like the way this site is set up for ease of use. There are so many great links to whatever you may want to try or continue building upon in your 'tech' endeavors for your classroom. This is a excellent resource for all grade levels!
Wow! Great find. Like Andi, I like how it asks you your goals and then takes you straight there and then has ratings. I can see this being a great easy way for teachers to learn some new ways to introduce technology into lesson plans.
I agree that this could be used in the future classroom because I could use songs to get my students engaged in my lessons. I could download a song with lyrics that have the concepts of one of the units we are currently working on. I also think this is strictly for teacher use because they are the ones presenting it to the students in order to get them engaged. I have never heard of any other resource close to this!
