A call for volunteers to act as mentors for a small group of students - from many participating in a student blogging challenge - for 10 weeks from October to December.
This teacher's blog is an interesting read. She details ideas for strategies to use when teaching students with special needs as well as samples of work and useful apps and resources for use in classrooms.
This is one of the best blogs I have found from a drama/theatre teacher. The teacher has so many useful links to other online resources and her blog is really well developed and set out... Definitely check this one out if you are a creative arts/drama/theatre teacher looking for an inspirational blogger to learn off.
This is a link to the blog written by Molly, who is a 4th grade teacher. The 'Lessons with Laughter' blog shares useful resources and links, classroom ideas, pictures, examples and personal reviews on lessons, websites and resources. There is also a separate part in her blog dedicated to 'Technology'. Check it out!
Barbara Day, a teacher with over 25 years of experience, is incorporating ICT's and making her resources available through blogging her daily and previous experiences in the classrooms of America. She provides her blog readers, intricate and useful stepping stones to incorporating ICT's into classroom activities.

what each student needs to learn, when they need to learn it.
potential of students to learn independently and collaboratively.
A blog about embracing digital technology in the classroom. Has some interesting comments about teacher attitudes to technology and new ways of learning. May be something to consider in reasons for using ICTs in the classroom
This is a really good example of what you can post on your blog as part of the learning journal.
Frances has taken one of the activities from the learning path (Postmans 5 things), connected it with another event in her life and made connections. She's also link to a couple of online resources within her post.
You perhaps don't need to go quite as far as Frances. e.g. just using it as an example of one of Postman's 5 things would have been sufficient.
Vicki Davis provides insight into ways in which teachers can teach with better results. Very interesting blogs that are well worth the read for EDC3100 students.
