It’s a fantastic resource that Tom intends to keep updated with new tips, so keep an eye on it and bookmark it, or even better: get in touch with Tom to contribute to it!
This picture is a great examplar for what represents ICT in my eyes in the Early childhood Sector. Through fostering close relationships and partnerships the children are able to all share ideas and engage together.
Google is rarely used properly - by students or teachers. It's more powerful than you think. This is a short video 1.34mins - it could save you a lot of time.
In response to my own question on twitter earlier, there are indeed programs that allow students to develop their own Apps, thanks to a quick google search. I think this would be a great introduction to the classroom to extend creativity and learn basic knowledge and skills to become innovative creators in the future
An example of a different approach for the assignment 1 artefact that came through my feeds today. It's a Wordpress blog that has been used to create a "presentation through hypertext of an alternative vision for a school".
Not only is this a good example of trying something different in a webs ite. It is about re-thinking education influenced, in part, by some of the factors we're talking about in this course.
