The blurb says: "Toondoo lets you create comic strips and cartoons easily with just a few clicks, drags and drops". I started using it in newsletters for parents as a way of grabbing their attention for key piece of information. It struck me how useful this would be as a way for children to summarise concepts, learning etc in one frame. Quite sure this is a site everyone is very familiar with already, but just in case...

Inspiring book that shows the possibilities of ICT integration in Pre Primary Education (Early Years, Kinder, ...). It is beautifully illustrated with pictures and images from real contexts. Even if the focus is on pre-primary, many of the concepts and practices are well aplicable to primary education.

In this video, Patrick Halpin, Donabate-Portrane Educate Together National School, shows how he uses Photostory with 4th class. Working in groups, the pupils create a photostory presentation on how to create origami flowers. They will use this presentation to teach origami to junior classes.

I like working on Photostory and it's really a great software that can help in encouraging children in their story writings.
