For me english 11 has taught me the meaning of "friendship" what is friendship? in my opinion its spending time with people you enjoy, laughing, having reackless nights, being irresponsible and making memories. but what happens when the people you feel closest to let you down, and in result are the reason for you trials and errors. A big theme this year as Jean-paul Satre would say is "Hell is Other People" in all 3 videos this year "Blind Melon-No Rain" Twilight Zone-Five Characters in Search of an Exit" and " Walk off the Earth-Little Boxes" we see how big of an impact we have in relationships, metally, phically and emotional.


In life, when we have a problem, we have TWO options, we can either run away from it and make excuses or have the courage to deal with the problem. Usually people are the reasons why we have problems, nobodys perfect, we all have insercuirtes and its when we get emotional attachted to friends, boyfriends and girlfriends we start to share our insurties trusting the person to not stab you in the back and become your enemy like what happen to estelle first orginally boyfriend and how she left him for anothor, making him so drpressed it initionated a murder. Little Boxes tell us that were all the same, we might look different and come from different lifestyles and/or backrounds but we all have dreams and we all have nightmares. in Twilight Zone-Five Characters in Search of an Exit" the same comman theme is brought to light, we are stuck in a room with people who share the same common traits as us. we want to get out of this same circle of doom. We have the selfish mindset I need to survive and no one else which only makes the situation worse. reading EQ and going through english 11


This year for me english 11 help me understand the universe better, the class discusssion and readings in english 11 taught me 3 things 1.) People will hate you, rate you, and try to break you but how you stand up to it all is what makes you 2.) Winners never quit and quitters never win! 3.) Hell is other people and trusting people isn't always safe but we have to trust and keep trusting.

i think The bumblebee girl is in everyone, we all have insecurities, we all want to fit in. when were laughed at for being different it makes are self esteem go down, just like the bumblee girl we all have feelings, i struggle with academics and feel embrassed when my in my ap us history class at the beging of the year. the songwriter is tryna let kids know dont run away and give up if the bumble girl can do it, so can we!

In my opinion, Akakiy Akaveich had a low self esteem and was not big on courage so when getting a new coat he felt accepted, also bring his courge and self esteem up, but after getting his coat stolen he then felt angry and wanted to seek revenge threw his ghost, in a deeper meaning saying that when people get wronged do they have a conscience and do they feel regret?

In "the rocking horse winner", by DH lawrence the house has a provoking and Infuriating in the story paul ends up having a form of assbugers or a type of OCD, the house becomes a character and starts to control the emotions of paul and the family the home symbolizing material things "must be money somewhere"

the short flim video did a great job it really helped me understand the stroy better the actors did very well in their roles that they played and the music was very friendly.
