Während es inzwischen zahlreiche Museums-Apps gibt, sind Museen und Kultureinrichtungen im Mobile Web bislang kaum vertreten. Wir sammeln an dieser Stelle Beispiele für Museums-Websites, die für die Nutzung mit dem Browser eines Smartphones angepasst sind. Eine ganz neue Entwicklung: Web Apps, die in ihrer Funktionalität Apps nahe kommen, aber plattformunabhängig über den mobilen Browser aufgerufen werden.
