    This article describes how an undercover TSA agent was able to sneak a fake bomb through not one, but two different checkpoints at the Newark Airport. It happened on February 25th and sources have said that the undercover agent was concealing a mock IED bomb in his pants. TSA has done several tests like this in the past and will still continue to do so in the future while providing immediate feedback to the officers regardless of how they fared in the testing process. This just goes to show how easy some people can underestimate the safety of others. TSA has not provided any elaborate details on the matter but said they will continue to work to provide the most safety possible for airline passengers.

    This article describes how Merlin, a leader in the hospitality world of project management systems, has just launched its new interface that allows their current property management systems to link with external property management systems. Merlin Software is one of the first to take advantage of this new interface, which allows its members' deposits to be automatically validated and deposited into the affiliates site on Merlin Software's cloud-based software. Reservations can now also be automatically linked between the two systems making it easier on hotel managers and executives. This is a huge breakthrough in the project management system world. With this new interface Merlin Software and RCI are now able to access real-time deposit verification's with little or no manual process, inbound guest lists automatically entered into Merlin Software, inbound guest reservations already booked, timesaving in assigning units to inbound guests, and improved check-in process for resorts. As you can see this is a giant step for Merlin Software and RCI, two innovators in project management systems for hospitality properties. Merlin is still the only complete enterprise timeshare software system to be cloud-based. More innovative discoveries will sure follow this new interface.

The second method the article talks about is highlighting products and categories with green options. Hotels should test out highlighting hotels with green initaitves and use conversions and bookings to determine which guests are green and what they would be looking for the most in your hotel. The next method is be thorough when explaining your green products or services. Keeping your guests updated with detailed information on your green products will not only establish trust, but will also encourage guests who are not green to convert. They are also immediately aware of your green products and services and like I stated earlier it will establish trust. The article also talks about behavioral targeting when identifying green guests.
