It would be interesting to ask students to compare international responses to the various uprisings and ask them to make a judgement about the fairness of each response.
A huge resource for historical radio programs. We have a group assignment where students create their own radio show and this would provide some good resources for demonstrating historical format, content and language.

An interactive tool to explore rankings of various countries according to a number of criteria (education, health, economic performance etc.). Could be useful in discussing what makes a good country and how your own country measures up to others.
Interesting web-based simulation of natural disasters. Students are expected to problem solve how to deal with prepping for a specific disaster with a limited budget. Obvious application in Geography classes but also could be used in History when looking at a specific disaster in history like Hurricane Katrina.
A great website that uses primary sources to create critical thinking activities for students to solve. Recommended for upper level high school students.
