    Dia 4 de novembro foi celebrado o aniversário da morte de Carlos Marighella. Líder da ALN, Marighella foi assassinado na Alameda Casa Branca em São Paulo. Abaixo eu reproduzo um trecho do livro Olho por olho do jornalista Lucas Figueiredo. Ele comenta partes do ORVIL, livro secreto do Exército descoberto em 2007 (mais detalhes no post Para o Exército PT seria incubadora de terroristas) em que a morte do guerrilheiro é descrita com detalhes.

    Ontem (13/11/2011) um homem reacionário conversou comigo no twitter. Ele me falou sobre Mário Korel Filho, jovem soldado que foi morto num atentado da VPR (Vanguarda Popular Revolucionária) ao QG do II Exército, em São Paulo, em 26/06/1968. Já conhecia essa história. Li sobre isso no livro de Alfredo Sirkis, Os Carbonários, leiam o trecho abaixo

    Agora é oficial! O Senado denunciou aquilo que todos já sabiam e fingiam que não viam: a maior empresa de fast-food do mundo explora trabalho escravo no Brasil. Isso acontece em todos os restaurantes. É a regra, não é a exceção. Ah, mas o lanche é tão gostoso, não é mesmo. Querem testemunhas? Perguntem aos milhares de ex-funcionários, como eu, que perderam anos preciosos de sua vida para dar lucro a uma empresa que tem coragem de pagar menos que um salário-mínimo. Envergonho-me de morar num país que somente agora percebe o trabalho escravo oficial e generalizado dentro de uma das empresas multinacionais mais conhecidas do mundo.     Em 1970 Celso Lungaretti, codinome Júlio, foi preso pela repressão militar. Além das bárbaras torturas que lhe deixaram surdo de um ouvido. Ainda teve que sobreviver durante anos sendo chamado de traidor pelos companheiros de Esquerda porque aceitou participar da encenação de um falso arrependimento na TV, armada pela ditadura militar como forma de propaganda contra a "subversão". Depois de 40 anos ele conseguiu provar sua inocência. Abaixo o relato do dia em que ele foi preso. O dia que mudou sua vida para sempre.

    Mineiro de Passa Quatro, Osvaldão, como era conhecido, foi o primeiro quadro do PCdoB a chegar ao Araguaia, entre 1966 e 1967. Negro, 1,98m de altura, forte, era tido como generoso e corajoso, sendo muito respeitado pelos moradores e por seus companheiros. Carismático e temido pelos militares, foi um grande mito da guerrilha entre a população da região, ao lado de Dina.

    Strategic studies have retained the thinking of Karl von Clausewitz at its core. The Prussian General's understanding of war by reference to the political process saw wars as the "continuation of politics by other means" (Clausewitz, 1997). In conflict research, this has become the most widely quoted definition of war. What made Clausewitz's work 'On War' so successful was that he wrote about war by focusing on its general aspects, or more simply, on the spirit of war as he saw it. In this way, war no longer drew on narrow and specific contexts, but rather became understood, as an enduring phenomenon, in general terms.
