Unlike the masala oriented themes that filmmakers used to target, debutant director Faraz Haider decided to showcase the relations between the two countries, India-Pakistan, in a light manner in his upcoming film War Chhod Na Yaar, starring Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan and Jaaved Jaaferi. It is India’s first war comedy based film.For choosing this odd and controversial concept, the young filmmaker said he and his team have taken some harmless cinematic liberties in portraying different characters on both sides (India and Pak). Faraz shares, “Until now, almost all films made on Indo-Pak issues showed Pakistan in a bad light. I'm not saying it is wrong, nor am I pointing fingers at anyone. Also, the purpose behind making this film is not to hurt Pakistan or its people. We’ve shown the human side of all army men, Indian or Pakistani, without forgetting their sacrifices for their countries. But we have taken some harmless cinematic liberties in portraying different characters on both sides.”He explained that the initial days on the film weren’t easy. “When I thought of making this film, many people close to me told me not to touch this topic as it would be too sensitive. I understand India and Pakistan have a lot of problems which need an immediate solution. Son of veteran actor-comedian Jagdeep, actor Javed Jaffrey claims that he never used his father’s name to get work in the film industry. The multi-talented chap is known for his roles in films like 100 Days, Fire, Earth, Salaam Namaste, Singh is Kingg and 3 Idiots and others."Being the son or daughter of a legendary film personality you get more respect. But I have never used that as an influence to enter industry. It is not that I got work because of him. My father did not do a film for me or launched me, he wanted us to do things on our own," Javed said."Rather I never thought I will enter the film industry, it happened all by chance. Destiny played a part and brought me here in this industry," he said. Jaffrey is known for his versatility, as he has done positive, negative as well as comic roles. "I like to play all kind of roles. You can't do same stuff every time as it becomes boring. Comedy is my soft spot. But I love doing action, thriller, drama and negative. I am not comfortable with sexuality, intimate scenes," he said.Next, he will appear in debutante director Faraz Haider's War Chhod Na Yaar. "I am playing captain Qureshi from the Punjab region of Pakistan. So my tone in the film is Punjabi-Urdu. The film establishes relationship in an interesting way. I had great fun doing this film," he said.The film also stars Sharman Joshi and Soha Ali Khan!

Is it a national issue?  I am just trying to work on my body shape, keeping in mind my character in the film. Believe me, I am not doing anything special. I am not dieting. I am happy with the way I look and hope people would leave it at that,” says, Vidya.At the same time, she is geared up to play first female detective of India in upcoming film Bobby Jasoos. The Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha production is being directed by debutant Samar Shaikh. “Samar is a very talented director. I am really looking forward to working with him,” she says. This news can cause a big worry to the fans of Ramleela star Ranveer Singh, as the actor, who is hospitalized in a suburban Mumbai hospital after being diagnosed with dengue, has shown no signs of improvement, even after being admitted for more than 60 hours.Ranveer is admitted to the Hinduja Surgical Health Care in Khar. Sources claim that the actor is currently put in isolation, and the doctors had even contemplated of shifting him to Intensive Care unit, but decided otherwise. "Ranveer's platelet count is not improving and he is experiencing excruciating pain in his bones and severe bouts of shivering. His parents are keeping vigil but they too are not allowed to meet him," said the sources. Singh, 28, contracted the disease when he was shooting in the coalmines of Durgapur, West Bengal. However, despite being unwell, he ignored it and continued shooting till the shoot’s wrap. And once he returned to Mumbai, he was diagnosed with an advanced stage of dengue. "He didn't pay much attention to it but if he was diagnosed two days earlier his condition may not have worsened the way it has," added the sources. Speaking of his alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone, it is learnt that she has not paid him any visit so far, as she is out of Mumbai. Sources said, "She is currently in Goa, busy shooting for Homi Adajania's film. But I guess she keeps herself updated about his condition."Get well soon, chap!

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, last seen in Satyagraha alongside Amitabh Bachchan and others, says he wants to reside in Delhi when he gets free from Mumbai or when he will achieve a certain position in his career. He also says that he has a special connection from Delhi as his family and friends are living in the capital.Manoj Bajpayee recently visited Delhi for a film’s shooting there he shared his desire to shift to Delhi. “Dilli se kaafi judi hui hain. Yahaan kaafi dost rehte hain, aur family bhi yahin hai. I am thinking of shifting to Delhi,” said the actor.Does it mean he’ll leave Mumbai soon? When sources asked the same that when he will be making the move, he said, “When I feel that I have reached a certain level in my career and my directors and producers will not mind calling me from Delhi to Mumbai, I will shift here. Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu starrer Besharam has slipped at the box-office despite a good opening. Directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyup, the film was released on October 2 over 3600 screens across the India and 700 screens overseas. Trade experts say that the movie had a good opening, but couldn’t retain the footfalls on the subsequent days.Not only critics disliked the film, but audience was not too impressed with the movie and given feedback that with Besharam, Ranbir sinks to a low. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh termed the collection of the film at box office an epic disappointment. He Tweeted, “Besharam (earned) Wednesday Rs.21.56 crore, Thursday Rs.7.13 crore, Friday Rs.5.68 crore, Saturday Rs.5.94 crore. Total is Rs.40.31 crore net. Epic disappointment!”He updated, “Besharam collects 47.31 net in its 5-day opening weekend [Wed to Sun]: Wednesday 21.56 crore, Thursday 7.13 crore, Friday 5.68 crore, Saturday 5.94 crore, Sunday 7 crore.” Also starring newcomer Pallavi Sharda, Besharam was made at a budget of Rs.60 crore in addition to the cost of promotions, marketing and advertising. “First day was good, but second day onwards the performance of the film has drastically dropped. Even on weekend, I don’t see any improvement,” Puneet Sahay of Spice Cinemas said.It is co-produced by Himanshu Mehra, Sanjeev Gupta and Reliance Entertainment.

It is a high end, stylish BMW bike. The actor will be performing breath taking stunts on the bike in the film. Aamir went through special training to perform the stunts on the bike.Also there were safety measures that had to be taken before shooting the stunts on the bike. Dhoom 3 is slated to release on 20th December.

Bollywood actor Uday Chopra is already 41, still he is in no hurry to get married and even there is no pressure from his family as well. As of now, he is busy establishing Yash Raj Films (YRF) Entertainment abroad. Speaking to the sources recently, he said that getting marriage is not the only option today.Currently, he lives in Los Angeles, from where he manages his home banner's Hollywood wing> but nowadays he is in Mumbai for the promotions of his upcoming film Dhoom: 3, where he plays the character of Ali.Even though he has belief in marriage as an institution, still he feels that it depends on what works. "If you find a girl who doesn't want to get married, then you don't get married. It's very individualistic thinking. I don't believe that marriage as an institution is dead, but I also don't think that that's the only option you have today," he said. In fact, his mom Pamela Chopra, widow of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, is also fine with the fact that her son is still a bachelor. "She feels I will do it whenever I feel like. Now that I have started out this production work, I want to see it being productive. I want to see going forward. Once that happens, I will settle down," he said.
