Entire B-town is gung-ho about the recently released trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming directorial Ramleela. They all have good things to say about the way the film has been picturised, and it is very much visible in the trailer.The chemistry between the lead pair, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is cracking, and it has already become the talk of the town.Amitabh Bachchan said on a social networking site, "Saw trailer of Ramleela...stunning! The colours, the passion, the Deepika...!!" On the other side, Deepika’s Happy New Year director, Farah Khan said, "The trailer is fabulous. Deepika looks fantastic; the chemistry between her and Ranveer looks good. The film seems to bring back the memories of Sanjay's previous films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. It looks very happy and colourful."Bhansali is over cloud nine hearing the appreciation coming his way. "The film is extremely close to my heart and for its first glance to be received this warmly, is overwhelming," he says. Producer Sunil Lulla said, "We are ecstatic with the unanimous, positive reviews and we couldn't be more excited with the reception."Ram Leela, produced by Eros International, releases November 15.

"I feel proud of the fact that those very things that India was once criticized for, like our growth of population, etc is now looked upon by developed nations for great consumer consumption. It goes well. I hate India being called as a developing nation. I want it to be known as a developed nation. I think we are moving forward in that direction. I don't believe in goals. I hope there is some opportunity and challenge that the future directors will offer me. Each decade is providing great expansion in our medium of media and entertainment. Like the growth of television, growing mobile penetration," Bachchan said.He added, "In our business of films we are judged by people like you. Audiences make us, their taste changes. They decide what kind of films and actors they like to watch. It is important to be in tune with the audience. The most difficult task in our business is to know what they are going to like and dislike."If we are able to judge how the audience will appreciate a particular kind of film, then we will make those kind of films. At the moment B-town actor Sanjay Dutt is enjoying his time with family as he is on furlough for 14 days from Yerwada Central Prison. However, it is learnt that due to health reasons he is seeking an extension of 14 more days.He has already written an application and the decision would be out today and it will be taken by the Mumbai police, a senior officer from the prison department said. For those unaware, Dutt is facing 42-month sentence under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.However, he came out of prison on furlough by the state prisons department on October 1. Now his leave period ends on October 15, and he is expected to surrender on October 16 as furlough excludes the period of travel.Meanwhile, not only Dutt, but every prisoner has the right to seek extension of leave for two weeks, however, one must mention ailment reason in the application, as only then will it be considered a police report is sought afresh. Also going by the manual, only one extension can be granted. Sources from Yerwada jail said that they have received the actor’s application. "Dutt has also attached medical certificates with the application. We have asked for a report from police. We expect it by Monday. We will decide after we get it," the officer said.Let’s wait for the decision to come out today!

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. B-town actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to buy a residential property near her Juhu home. It is learnt that she considered quite a few options and finally she is said to have finalized a 2500-sq-feet house on the 10th road of Juhu Scheme. You may know at present, she resides with her parents on the 7th road.
