The multifaceted star, Farhan Khan has formed a rock band and has planned to tour with it, performing shows. Called Farhan Live, the nine-member band has been performing in different places around the world, including Goa (performance venue- the annual Carnival Celebrations of Goa, where around 15,000 people were gathered). Farhan along with music director Pritam also performed recently in Dubai.Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan's young son, Siddharth Mahadevan, who provided hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag title track, is also touring with Farhan Akhtar's band and feels privileged to be working along with the star.An elated Siddharth shares, “This is really an unbelievable opportunity and I consider myself very fortunate and humbled to be a part of Farhan's tour. He's such an incredible all-round artist and just to share the same stage as him will be an honour in itself. I just want to get on there and do my best and enthral all my audiences to the best of my abilities!”Farhan Live comprises Shannon Donald (vocals), Sarosh Izedyar (lead guitarist), Dibyajyoti Nath (bass guitar) Darshan Doshi (drums) and Umaang Doshi (keyboard), among others. Yesteryears actress Asha Parekh has been blessed to work with the superstars of her reining era, whether it be Shammi Kapoor, Dev Anand or Rajesh Khanna. However, she still rues the fact that she didn’t get the opportunity to work with Dilip Kumar, and is still waiting to work with him.While speaking to the sources at an event recently, the Padma Shri winner said, "I really want to work with Yusuf saab (Dilip Kumar). It's still a wish and I am still waiting to work with him." For those unaware, Dilip Kumar calls it quits from acting in 1998, and the last movie the 90-year-old featured in was Qila. Despite that Asha Parekh is still eager to share screen-space with him. "If I get an opportunity, I would just run and do that project. This is one thing I am looking forward to," she said.There were rumours before that Dilip Kumar and Asha Parekh shared some animosity and this is the reason that they never worked together, but the latter quashed the rumours. She said, "There was no animosity. It was a mistake by the journalist who just cooked up the story. I was very angry with him for cooking up stories and spoiling our relationship. Initially Jhanvi was negative but now she has turned positive and now I can relate myself to the character of Jhanvi. Jhanvi has now become my identity. Recently few people recognized me as Jhanvi in a market and they asked me, Are you Jhanvi? People have lots of sympathy towards Jhanvi and I am loving it.”The actress admits that her character is quite similar to her. “I am finding it very easy to get myself involved in this character. She is a very emotional girl like me.
